"Adjunct Clinical Faculty - Prosthodontics"

The Department of Prosthodontics at NYU Dentistry is currently seeking a highly motivated candidate with Dental Laboratory Technology experience for a part-time (Adjunct) position. This part-time faculty interacts with the predoctoral DDS and/or the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics students. This position requires a minimum of one day to 2.5 days of time commitment per week.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is $12K-$45K. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

Candidates must be a Certified Dental Technician (CDT). Knowledge of prosthodontics laboratory and digital procedures, evidence of previous teaching experience (Academia or industry), as well as laboratory management, are required. The successful applicant will join a department committed to the highest quality educational programs and a broad spectrum of patient care using digital technology for optimal patient care efficiency. Extensive experience with the use and application of digital dentistry, software designs, and manufacturing of prostheses as related to Prosthodontics and dental prostheses fabrication is highly desirable.
