Job Details
The Medical Humanities Program seeks an instructor to teach the Literature in Medicine course. This course explores the connections between literature, health, illness, and the practice of medicine.
Essential Functions
- Selecting six books that examine themes relevant to medicine and the human condition.
- Lead class discussions with medical students to help students engage critically and reflectively with literary works.
- Encourage connections between narrative understanding, empathy and clinical practice.
