Position Summary
La Salle University's Chemistry Department is in need of adjunct faculty to teach laboratory sections for first-year science courses: Chemistry for the Life Sciences and/or General Chemistry.
These courses are offered in person and may be scheduled in the daytime or the evening.
Essential Duties
- Teach assigned course(s).
- Prepare course materials consistent with departmental learning objectives.
- Provide timely grading and feedback to students.
- Provide guidance and support to students.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Chemistry or closely related field.
- Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry.
- Previous experience teaching at the collegiate level.
- Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours
- Some classes offered may be in the evenings.

This is a pooled position from which Adjunct Instructors will be selected when/if a need arises in the department.
