Welcome to the Department of Chemistry, Physics and Materials Science (CPMS) at Fayetteville State University (FSU). FSU Chemistry program is approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS), an important distinction for any Chemistry program.
Primary Purpose of the Position
The Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Materials Science at Fayetteville State University seeks temporary (adjunct) instructors to teach introductory and service courses in chemistry, physics, geology, and the physical sciences for science majors, as well as nursing and other non-science majors.
This posting is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. If your academic area of interest/expertise meets the programmatic needs of FSU at any time, you will be contacted to discuss proposed opportunities. These needs change from semester to semester. Adjunct positions are employed for one semester of one year only on a part-time or full-time basis. Rank is dependent upon credentials.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Ph.D. or Master’s degree with 18 credit hours in the desired teaching discipline. Experience with Online Education delivery is beneficial. All degrees must be from accredited institutions. Individual programs require specific licensure/certification.
