"Adjunct Faculty, Clinical Practice"

Pacific College of Health and Science is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Department of Clinical Practice as an Adjunct Faculty member at the New York campus.

Job Summary: This position involves teaching courses in a classroom setting and online. The curriculum includes essential subjects such as Practice Management, Tui Na, and Clinical Counseling.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DAC, DACM, DAOM, DACCHM, or equivalent).
• Clinical Counseling only: Degree and licensure in mental health. Dual degree in Chinese Medicine and mental health preferred.
• Active Diplomate status with the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (Previously NCCAOM).
• Valid acupuncture or mental health license in good standing with the New York State Department of Education.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in acupuncture practice.
• Demonstrated experience in live classroom teaching at the higher education level.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience at the graduate level.
• A comprehensive teaching portfolio demonstrating a student-centered teaching philosophy.
• Proficiency in instructional technology to enhance the learning experience.
• Familiarity with Moodle or other Learning Management Systems.

Salary Expectations: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
