Adjunct Faculty Employment Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in teaching for the Department of Art, Design, and Visual Studies.

There are ongoing needs for adjuncts but course assignments varies semester by semester. If you are interested in being contacted for future opportunities, please complete the application form provided on this page. Adjunct faculty are non-tenure track, contract-based faculty, who may teach a total of 11 credits per Fall, Spring or Summer semester. To be considered as an adjunct faculty, possessing a terminal degree is preferred.

Compensation

Adjunct professors are compensated based on the number of credits taught in a given semester. Compensation is further broken down by Step 1 and Step 2 pay grade. All adjunct faculty are initially classified as Step 1 and automatically progress to Step 2 after completing their third semester of teaching for the department.
