- Instructor $1,969.70 per credit
- Assistant Professor $2,035.00 per credit
- Associate Professor $2,100.86 per credit

Position Summary:
The Department of Education at Manhattan University seeks outstanding applicants for multiple part-time Adjunct Professor positions in our Special Education Master's Program.
This search is open to candidates specializing in all areas of Special Education with consideration given to those candidates with expertise in the areas of 1) literacy intervention 2) curricular adaptation and 3) adolescent special education
A Master's degree in Education or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates who hold a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Special Education or a related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching and have a recent history of professional work in the P-12 sector working with special populations.
We seek faculty members with a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring who will create a climate that embraces excellence and diversity, to attract and retain a diverse, talented student body. This position requires on-site, in person teaching during afternoons and/or evenings in the Spring 2026 semester.

Responsibilities:
- It is the responsibility of the adjunct instructor to provide content for and teach assigned courses. Courses that may be assigned include but are not limited to:
- Curriculum Adaptation and Content Strategies for At-Risk, English Language Learners (ELL) and the Disabled Student
- Practicum in Teaching At Risk, (ELL) & the Disabled
- Literacy Instruction for At Risk and Disabled Students
Qualifications:
