Individuals may enter expressions of interest by submitting their credentials to any posting for which they are qualified to teach. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Screening of individuals in the pool is ongoing, depending on curricular need and funding. Individuals will be contacted by the department if they reach the finalist stage for teaching a particular course or set of courses. Qualifications: Minimum requirements include a master's degree in the discipline, or 18 semester/27 quarter hours of graduate work in the discipline, or an undergraduate degree with a minimum of five years demonstrated relevant professional experience. Exceptions may be considered with approval of the dean. Application Instructions: Information Systems (IS) is the study of how to plan, design, utilize and upgrade systems leveraging information technology to overcome organizational problems and enhance organizational effectiveness. IS typically focuses on computer hardware, software, data, people and organization to achieve the best outcomes for businesses and non-profit organizations. In addition to the required documents listed below, you may also submit evidence of your experience as an optional document relating to systems analysis & design, IS management, IS operations, cloud computing, AI-related system functions, enterprise systems, analytics/business intelligence application development, relational and NoSQL database systems, enterprise data management, end-user support, end-user education and training, and IS strategy planning & implementation.
