Adjunct Faculty in Software Engineering
DePaul's Jarvis College of Computing & Digital Media (CDM) is located in the heart of Chicago's Loop. CDM students come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, and CDM is interested in recruiting and maintaining a diverse faculty. Part-time teaching positions are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions.
The School of Computing (SoC) offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs including Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Game Programming, Health Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Information Technology, Intelligent Systems Engineering, Network Engineering and Security, and Software Engineering. Minimum requirements include a master's degree in the discipline, or 18 semester/27 quarter hours of graduate work in the discipline, or an undergraduate degree with a minimum of five years demonstrated relevant professional experience. The candidate must have demonstrated experience in working in teaching in a diverse learning environment.
The software engineering program offers a broad range of courses in software development, software system design, software architecture, quality assurance, project management, collaborative development, and real-time systems. Our curriculum emphasizes practical skills in software development, current technologies, tools, and best practices.
