Adjunct Faculty, Oncology
The KGI School of Pharmacy is seeking outstanding individuals to teach in an integrated oncology pharmacy course.
Applicants should have a Pharm.D. from an accredited college of pharmacy with post-graduate residency, fellowship, or equivalent experience gained over a period of at least three to five years in a healthcare setting. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in California. Clinical experience in oncology is preferred. Candidates with previous experience teaching Doctor of Pharmacy students and a track record of effective scholarship will be given preference. Candidates will be expected to have a strong commitment to innovative teaching.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Creating, delivering, and assessing instruction and its effectiveness for student learning in the doctor of pharmacy curriculum.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing; Experience with electronic learning management systems and testing systems (e.g., Canvas, ExamSoft); Excellent time management skills and organizational skills; Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team of highly motivated and experienced individuals; Honesty, integrity, and commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
