Duties and Responsibilities: Adjunct Faculty
members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct
Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual
enrollment courses as needed. Adjunct Faculty are expected to
support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the
Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty are
expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline. Adjunct
Faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or
department chair within their respective departments and
divisions.

East Baton Rouge Parish Prison
West Baton Rouge Parish Prison
Louisiana State Police
Pointe Coupee Parish Detention Center
Other Correctional Facilities

Required Education: Current
OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Construction
or General Industry certification.

Ability to learn and utilize technology in a fast-paced
environment.
• Possess good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse populations,
including students, administrators, instructors, external agencies,
business leaders, and the public.
