Job Description:
The Philosophy Department and the Humanities Division at Bellarmine University invites applications for a part-time instructor position for an Introduction to Philosophy (or the love of wisdom) course, for fall 2025 (8/20-2026-12/2/2026). Classes are scheduled to meet in person.
This course introduces students to philosophical thinking. By reading some of the greatest thinkers in the history of Western philosophy, students will learn about the topics that have engaged philosophers through the ages, as well as learning how to begin to think critically about those topics.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience teaching Philosophy at the college level
- Hold an M.A. or Ph.D. degree in Philosophy or a related field.
