Adjunct Faculty - Undergraduate Nursing

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate degree with a BSN, or BSN and currently enrolled in a graduate program, or BSN with additional credentials, at least 2-years relevant clinical nursing experience, active RN license in Virginia

RESPONSIBILITIES

To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the undergraduate nursing program, teaching up to 3.5 credit hours per semester. Includes the following: Undergraduate nursing clinical instruction, in person, at an adult health long-term care and/or acute care clinical agency in or near Harrisonburg: NURS 304 Fundamentals Practicum

POSITION DETAILS

Faculty are contracted per course. Salary determined by education.

APPOINTMENT DATE

Fall Semester, September 1 through December 18, 2026. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open. Clinical rotations vary in length and timing on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the semester.
