"Adjunct Instructor for LEAD 825: Child Life"

Online Position Vacancy - Online Short-term Adjunct Instructor for LEAD 825: Child Life Program Development and Administration, 3 cr

Bank Street College, Graduate School of Education, is looking for a Short-term Adjunct instructor for the following course to be taught March 10th-24th, with a possible extension through April 21st.

Sessions will meet on Tuesdays, 7-9pm EST.

LEAD 825: Child Life Program Development and Administration, 3 cr

This course will introduce students to the skills needed to develop, direct, and manage child life programs in healthcare settings. Emphasis will be placed on developing a philosophy of leadership that fosters team collaboration and staff participation. Program planning will be addressed within the context of child development and child life principles. Topics covered will include staff development and supervision, continuous quality improvement, proposal writing, program development, and departmental management skills. Prerequisite: EDUC 500. For students in the Child Life program only.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in child life required. Doctorate preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience as a child life practitioner.
• Experience teaching at the graduate level, preferred.
• Experience teaching online, preferred.

Compensation:

$964.53-$1,929.06
