Adjunct Instructor (Pharmacology)
Job Description
This part-time, non-tenure positions will teach courses in Pharmacology during Fall semester 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates command of content in an area of specialization.
- Develops classroom and clinical learning activities that facilitate learning.
- Plans, implements and evaluates course materials for assigned courses.
- Works collaboratively with other faculty coordinator in implementing the curriculum.
- Assumes responsibility for construction and administration of examinations.
- Participates in evaluation of students.
- Keeps the FNP coordinator appraised of student progress through weekly conferences, relevant correspondences, and written reports.
Required Education & Experience:
- Current Pharmacy Doctorate (Pharm Doc) and licensure in Texas.
- Pharm D from an accredited program.
- Experience in teaching pharmacology.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and service in pharmacy.
