The Behavioral Sciences Department at UC Blue Ash invites applicants for our Psychology Adjunct faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed).

Job Overview
Part-time faculty must be able to teach first and second-year introductory psychology courses. This may include creating curricula or teaching from model curricula provided by the department. Other possible teaching assignments include human development, psychopathology, research methods and statistics, theories of personality, and other psychology topics for sophomore-level courses.
Adjunct faculty members will be expected to (1) use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems; (2) hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner; and (3) participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.
The candidate should have experience with online teaching. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Essential Functions
- On a part-time basis, teach assigned undergraduate courses.
- Using best practices, continually evaluate student coursework.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities.
- Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Education
- A Master's degree (or higher) in Psychology.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- At least one (1) year of teaching experience in a college setting.
- Availability to teach courses during the day.
- Experience with online teaching
