"Adjunct Instructor - Theatre Acting Fundamentals"

The Department of Theatre in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a non tenure-track adjunct position, teaching Theatre 150 Acting Fundamentals, the introductory course for majors, to begin 8/20/2025. The successful candidate will have experience with acting training, and college level teaching is preferred. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship/creative work. Instruction will take place on campus. Applicants with professional experience are especially desired.

08/20/2025-12/10/2025 Monday, Wednesday, Friday 01:20PM – 02:25PM

Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship. Experience working with diverse student populations and communities is highly desirable.

Qualified applicants should have completed 18 credit hours of graduate coursework in theatre-related study, but equivalent experience will be considered. Experience teaching at the college level is preferred.
