Essential Duties

Adjunct instructors are needed to teach the following courses:

BSB 151 and BSB 151L General Biology 1 lecture and lab – face-to-face. This is a general biology course for biology majors and provides an overview of the following topics in biology: the scientific method, evolution, classical genetics, molecular genetics and biochemistry, mutations and molecular evolution, and population genetics. Ideally the same individual will teach both the lecture and lab.

BSB 142L Human Anatomy and Physiology 2 Lab – face-to-face. This is the in-person lab section that accompanies the human anatomy and physiology lecture (the lecture will be taught by departmental faculty) and covers: the special senses, the endocrine system, the reproductive system, the cardiovascular system, the respiratory system, the urinary system, and the digestive system.

BSB 142L Human Anatomy and Physiology 2 Lab – online. This is the online lab section that accompanies the human anatomy and physiology lecture (the lecture will be taught by departmental faculty) and covers: the special senses, the endocrine system, the reproductive system, the cardiovascular system, the respiratory system, the urinary system, and the digestive system.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 18 graduate hours in Biology.
