Merrimack College is a selective, private college in a beautiful, residential setting — just minutes from Boston, Massachusetts.
Position Overview:
The Department of Math and Physics invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach Introduction to Astronomy this upcoming Fall semester 2025. The meeting times and additional information are as follows:
- The course is an in-person course scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30-10:45 am.
Duties include delivering lectures in a classroom setting, administering exams, and grading students’ assignments.
Position Qualifications:
The candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Hold at least a MS in Astronomy, Physics, or related field
- College-level teaching and experience utilizing learning management systems (i.e.- Canvas) and technology in the classroom is highly desirable.
