"Adjunct Lecturer or Adjunct Assistant Professor – Biological Sciences"

The Biological Sciences Department at Bronx Community College (BCC) seeks experienced adjunct instructors to teach Anatomy and Physiology I (BIO 23), Anatomy and Physiology II (BIO 24), and/or Microbiology (BIO 28) for the Fall 2025 semester (August 26, 2025, to December 22, 2025). Availability on Saturday afternoons is required for the currently open position.

Qualifications:

Lecturer: Bachelor's degree in biology or a closely related discipline, and the ability to teach successfully to a diverse student body in an urban environment. Master's degree preferred.

Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in biology or a closely related discipline, and the ability to teach successfully to a diverse student body in an urban environment.

Compensation:

Adjunct Lecturer: $96.47-$107.79 per hour; commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Adjunct Assistant Professor: $106.09-$116.56 per hour; commensurate with experience and qualifications.
