Salary: UOM 6 – $96,459 – $104,413 p.a. plus 17% super

About the Role

The Senior Enrolment Advisor (SEA) ensures the university adheres to its enrolment policy and relevant government requirements, with a particular focus on the ESOS framework and HESA legislation. Based in the Enrolment Compliance team, you will manage compliance for 65,000 students, lead key activities, and serve as the subject matter expert. Your role involves providing critical compliance advice to staff and students and collaborating with other teams within Student Services and across the university to achieve outstanding results.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate the successful delivery and continuous improvement of large-scale critical enrolment compliance tasks, including preparing and sending related communications.
  • Provide expert support and advice to students and staff and manage complex enquiries.
  • Contribute to team activities and identify opportunities to enhance services and encourage collaboration across teams.
  • Act as a key contact for services and support team development and client service excellence.


Who we are looking for

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to provide expert guidance and support to a diverse range of students and colleagues. You will excel in organising and delivering time-critical services with precision, maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity in a dynamic environment, and demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

You will also have:

  • A tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (macros and complex formulas) for handling large data sets, with experience in student management and CRM systems
  • You will have strong policy knowledge in the ESOS framework, ensuring effective compliance and strategic guidance

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.

Student and Scholarly Services (SASS) handles student administration from recruitment to graduation. The Executive Directorate, led by the Executive Director and Academic Registrar, manages student grievances, operational planning, and communications, while providing support to the Executive Director and sub-portfolio directors.
