Job Description

• Full-time, permanent position
• Base salary will be in the range $82,133 - $91,295 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5)
• Based at our St Lucia location

About This Opportunity

As the International Admissions Officer, you will have responsibility for assessing international applications and managing queries. You will be assigned a particular geographic region of focus.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Triage and respond to queries from students and agents using your strong customer service to provide accurate information. Additionally, liaise with internal stakeholders throughout the application process ensuring a positive and collaborative service.
• Process and manage international applications and deferrals from submission to acceptance.
• Refer too and ensure compliance with key legislation, University policies and procedures.
• Proactively support the team to resolve workload issues and contribute to continuous improvement
• Develop knowledge of and master UQ systems related to query management and international admissions.

About You

• A relevant degree or relevant industry and specialist experience in International admissions.
• Strong communication and cross cultural skills allowing you to contribute to delivering a high level of customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of efficiency in a high volume, high pressure and ever changing environment.
• Good knowledge of compliance in international admissions, policies and procedures, with the ability to contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to performance targets related to quality and compliance.
• Adaptability to learning and using new technology to process a wide range of tasks including streamlining queries and processing applications.

Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia and criminal history checks. This may also include checks relating to gender-based violence matters or other integrity and conduct requirements.
