Administrative Assistant 2 - Orthopaedics
Supports the Division of Education in the Department of Orthopaedics; provides support and assistance to divisional residency and fellowship training and medical student education program leaders; assists with coordinating education programs; prepares educational and training materials; assists with resident and fellow application and interview processes; assists with planning and preparing for resident orientation; assists with preparing for residency program accreditation site visits; assists with credentialing of visiting residents and with credentialing of residents to affiliated sites; schedules evaluations to be completed in online system; prepares call schedules; assists with onboarding of residents and visiting residents; Supports program manager in execution of education special events, including catering orders; assists program manager with continuing medical education program; monitors maintenance of ACLS certification and licensure documentation and monitors expiration dates for trainees; monitors completion of required online training for trainees; responds to inquiries and provides information on training history; maintains electronic files for current and past trainees; serves as backup point of contact for residents and medical students; greets guests to the administrative offices; provides general assistance to occupants of administrative offices; initiates procurement of resident supplies, office supplies and maintains appropriate inventory; procures building access for trainees, faculty, visitors, and staff; processes travel requests and reimbursements for trainees, faculty, and other department personnel; processes payment and reimbursement requests for trainees.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
