Job Summary
The Administrative Coordinator--COE supports academic and administrative functions within the College of Education with primary responsibility for electronic data management systems, curriculum processes, and accreditation-related activities. This position ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with institutional, state, and accreditation standards while serving as a key liaison among faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage reporting for: Georgia Professional Standards Commission, Board of Regents, Accrediting bodies (CAEP, CACREP, NASP), Educator certification testing services, NC-SARA and Title IV Compliance
- Serve as notary for Verifying Legal Presence
- Oversee the secondary admit process and change students from non-cert to cert tracks
- Provide support to the Certification Officer
- Provide support to faculty/staff/administration in the curriculum change process, including assisting with proposal entry and tracking proposals
- Serve on Assessment & Accreditation Committee and Curriculum Committee to provide administrative support
- Support faculty and administrators in COE with data entry in electronic data management system and data reporting for assessment/accreditation purposes
- Develop and maintain COE electronic data management system and work with vendors on development of data collection tools and templates
- Provide data related to COE programs and Key Assessments as requested by faculty, staff, and administrators
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience
- Three (3) or more years of work experience in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
- Master's degree in education or a related field
Preferred Experience
- Preparation of data reports, Experience with GA educator certification, Experience with Banner
Proposed Salary
$20.71 - $25.88 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
