We are looking for an Administrative Officer to provide high quality, comprehensive administrative, secretarial and project support to the Senior Leadership Team at the Bennett Institute for Applied Data Science and Professor of Evidence-Based Medicine. This post is central to the Director’s team and therefore the post holder must be able to demonstrate their ability to work well in a team environment and build effective working relationships with staff at all levels.

The role will involve a variety of administrative tasks, in some instances of a sensitive, highly confidential and/or urgent nature, interacting extensively with senior members of the Bennett Institute and the wider department and University.

This role will ideally suit a highly motivated administrative officer with strong organisational, administrative, and project coordination experience, who is able to work autonomously and efficiently under pressure, and who can exercise a high level of discretion and confidentiality. They should be confident in drafting reports, statements and correspondence, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and the ability to tailor their communication style to the audience appropriately.

You will be formally based in the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work, but you will be able to agree a pattern of regular hybrid working with your line manager. The role is full-time but part-time will also be considered (minimum 30 hours over five days).

The position is fixed term for three years in the first instance.

For further information or discuss the post please contact Klaudia Budniak (Klaudia.budniak@phc.ox.ac.uk).
