Administrator (Student Engagement)

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Administrator (Student Engagement) to join our energetic Student Engagement team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vibrant campus experience by supporting a wide range of student programmes, events, and initiatives that help students build friendships, develop skills, and feel part of the University community.
Working alongside the Student Engagement Coordinators, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support across a range of engagement activities from orientation and transition programmes through to leadership initiatives, co-curricular recognition, and large-scale student events.
No two days will look the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves working with students and people from diverse backgrounds.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position. The salary range for this role is from NZ $55,634 - $62,900 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Student and Scholarly Services (SaSS) was established with the aim of strengthening the integration of student facing services to improve effectiveness at all points along the student journey. SaSS encompasses a wide range of student-facing services, plus services that support researchers and academic staff in their teaching. Services include academic services, libraries and learning support, Student hubs and the Student experience centre, services to support kaimahi Māori and Pacific students, student engagement and wellbeing.
