We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Administrator to join the Human Resources Division.
This new full-time role will join our friendly and supportive Divisional Administration team, which provides essential support to colleagues across the HR Division. The team's responsibilities span a range of functions including HR and Finance administration, Health and Safety, and IT support. We're looking for an organised, people-focused professional to join our team and play a key role in keeping our HR operations running smoothly.
About the role
In this role, you'll be supporting the Divisional Administrator with maintaining divisional administrative policy and processes in order to ensure the smooth running of the HR Division (approx. 230 staff) and to help facilitate the efficient operation of all work undertaken. This will be a varied role, primarily responsible for financial administation, whilst also providing administrative support across the team.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for monitoring and processing invoices, credit notes, expense claims, purchase orders and credit accounts with suppliers, taking into account financial regulations.
- Purchase stationary and other office supplies, placing orders through the University financial system.
- Collect and collate data relating to expenditure and equipment use.
- Provide general administrative support within the Divisional Adminstration team.
- Acting as point of contact for enquiries from colleagues.
We're looking for someone who has:
- A Level standard or equivalent standard/NVQ level 3 education or equivalent level of practical experience.
- Relevant experience in administration.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, whilst maintaining high standards of delivery service.
- Previous working knowledge of Cambridge University Finance systems would be desirable
