Admissions Application Processor
Job Summary
Processes admission applications and documents to determine admissions status to support the mission of enrollment across campus. Maintains student and department records of assigned area through scanning, indexing and retrieval.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and processes admission's applications and documents in an electronic environment
- Responsible for student and department records maintenance and document imaging
- Makes decisions on applicants admit/student type, residency status, academic status, overall status and admission's status with every application and document received
- Using application and other information, determines college transcripts that are required
- Uses transcripts received to determine accreditation of institution and applicant's admission's overall GPA
- Processes and maintains informational lists
- Processes required curricula requirements
- Serves as a resource for internal and external customers
- Assists with the generation of applicant communications
- Provides training to new hires as directed by leadership
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience: One (1) year of related work experience
