UCLA Anderson's Fully Employed MBA, Executive MBA and the UCLA-NUS Executive MBA (together, the Part-time MBA Programs) are nationally recognized, self-supporting degree programs that each admit one class of qualified MBA students per year. The Admissions Officer has three primary roles: recruitment, evaluation, and yield management to help the program meet their enrollment goals. To be effective in this role, the Admissions Officer will attract and guide future MBA candidates through the entire consideration process of graduate study at UCLA. The Admissions Officer must be able to offer trustworthy counsel in four arenas: academics, career, life-planning, and finances. The Admissions Officer works with future part-time MBA students who will make a significant investment in their pursuit of a MBA. The Admissions Officer provides counsel and advice to determine whether or not UCLA is the right university and a working professional MBA is the right graduate school investment to achieve their life-long career goals. The Admissions Officer will assist in developing event strategies, including assisting with the planning and execution of recruiting and yield events. The Admissions Officer will also assess applications, including academic transcripts, test scores (GMAT/GRE/EA), essays, recommendations, as well as interviews (as needed). The Admissions Officer will also evaluate candidates' leadership potential, career goals, to assess candidacy and make admission decisions or recommendations to the admissions committees.
