Position Summary
The Admissions Processing Coordinator supports all aspects of the admissions and recruitment process, primarily focusing on application processing, international admissions services, enrollment procedures, and other administrative functions that facilitate admissions operations and the matriculation of highly qualified candidates to the School of Public Health’s graduate degree programs.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Application and Admissions Processing
- Serve as the primary processor of applications for admission to the School of Public Health graduate programs. Review applications for admissions and scholarships. The position will work in conjunction with others to analyze transcripts for program required courses and advance standing transferrable credits. The analyst will be responsible for actively following up and corresponding with prospective students and applicants by email, mail, phone or face-to-face appointments to answer questions about the admissions process, program, policies, and School.
- Manage online application system mechanisms and applicant portals, monitor and update applicant statuses, and communicate with applicants regarding application requirements as needed.
- Create and integrate electronic decision notifications and generate admission letters and materials for distribution.
- Administer processes for intent to enroll, advance tuition deposits, deferrals, withdrawals, and other application, admissions, and pre-enrollment procedures.
- Maintain an accurate and thorough understanding of the School of Public Health’s application, admission, and enrollment requirements and serve as a knowledgeable resource to internal and external constituents.
- International Admissions Procedures
- Serve as departmental liaison to the University’s Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) to maintain accurate and updated information related to complex policies and procedures for incoming international students.
- Manage verification process for English language proficiency test score requirements.
- Communicate directly with students and other constituents as needed regarding requirements.
- Track incoming international student visa status and arrival plans and provide regular reports to department administrators and campus partners.
- Systems and Data Support
- Provide admissions technology systems analysis, maintenance, and oversight for data integrity in enrollment CRM, application systems, and student records.
- Lead data analysis, quality control audits, record retention, and reporting needs.
- Contribute to the ongoing evaluation of practices and outcomes to ensure efficient and effective data and systems operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range
$21.17 - $32.85 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
