Position Description
The Admissions Specialist serves as a population-specific enrollment professional responsible for recruitment, outreach, advising, and application review for an assigned student segment. Distinct from a generalist Admissions Counselor, the Specialist develops deep expertise in a defined enrollment population, executes targeted recruitment strategies, and contributes meaningfully to institutional enrollment goals, yield strategy, and student success priorities.
This role operates in close coordination with the Dean of Enrollment Management and/or the Senior Director of Transfer and International Admissions and supports the Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing through disciplined funnel management, high-touch student engagement, and data-informed recruitment practices.
The Admissions Specialist is a student-facing enrollment professional responsible for recruiting prospective students, advising families, supporting campus visit programming, and reviewing applications for an assigned territory or market. In alignment with the four Admissions Specialist roles (Traditional Undergraduate, Transfer & Veterans, International, or Graduate), this Specialist is assigned to a primary population focus for Graduate Admissions while maintaining the shared core expectations of territory management, outreach/event execution, application evaluation, CRM discipline, and partnership with Financial Aid and campus stakeholders.
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.
