Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Technology Manager supports the Office of Admissions by managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting admissions technology and data systems. The position reviews and maintains data within CRM, Banner, and Slate; develops rules, workflows, reports, and system configurations; collaborates with technical and non-technical stakeholders; and helps ensure admissions platforms are accurate, efficient, secure, and aligned with enrollment and business needs. This position may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots issues within admissions systems and communicates solutions to users in a timely manner.
- Reviews, validates, and maintains admissions data within Slate, CRM Recruit, Banner, and related systems.
- Creates, tests, and maintains Slate rules, workflows, queries, reports, forms, and other configurations to support admissions operations.
- Assists with optimization and configuration of admissions software platforms to meet the needs of the Office of Admissions.
- Diagnoses and resolves admissions software, data, integration, and user-access issues.
- Interfaces with University IT services and external technology partners on behalf of Admissions to resolve system issues.
- Performs and coordinates admissions system maintenance and production improvements, including approved patches and updates.
- Monitors data quality and works with staff to correct inaccurate or incomplete information within admissions systems.
- Collaborates with technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop and maintain efficient admissions technology solutions.
- Develops and updates reports to support recruitment, application processing, enrollment, and yield strategies.
- Provides training, documentation, and technical support to Admissions staff on systems and business processes.
- Submits and coordinates updates to admissions-related webpages and digital content as needed.
- Provides a high level of customer service to internal team members, campus partners, students, and prospective families.
- Supports the Admissions Leadership team with technology, data, reporting, and process-improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrates the ability to work proactively, independently, and in a solution-focused manner.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working with admissions software and/or student information systems within a higher education or secondary education environment.
- Experience working with students in a college, university, or secondary education setting.
- Demonstrated experience with admissions technology platforms such as Slate, CRM Recruit, Banner, or comparable CRM/student information systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work occasional evenings and/or weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CRM systems; Slate experience strongly preferred.
- Experience creating Slate rules, workflows, queries, reports, and forms.
- Experience with Banner or a comparable student information system.
- Experience supporting admissions or enrollment management technology and business processes.
Proposed Salary
Salary Range $60,000.00 - $70.000.00 annually
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent data management and software navigation skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and data within databases and student information systems.
- Ability to write rules in Slate and create workflows that support admissions business processes.
- Knowledge of CRM Recruit, Slate, Banner, Canva, EDM, and related admissions technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and communicate solutions clearly.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, decisiveness, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and strong customer-service orientation.
