Supervises all high school equivalency students and instructors, including off-campus classrooms. Some travel is required. Travel is reimbursed at current college rate. Evening hours are required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in education, project management or a closely related subject area.

Employee must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products and possess strong data analysis skills. Strong communication and organizational skills are needed. Employee should possess the ability to work with a diverse group of people from all socio-economic levels and work well with those who do not have good English-speaking skills. Flexibility in working hours is required. Being multi-lingual is a plus. Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Proficiency with MS Office products.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with issues and concerns that may occur randomly or sporadically. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Adult Education and Literacy teaching certificate is required. The program will provide this certification to the right candidate.
