Position Summary

The UBMD Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for its community-based practice sites.

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) operates under the direction and supervision of one or more physicians, providing healthcare services for adults.

They are responsible for:

• The provision of comprehensive care to a panel of adult patients.
• Supporting the clinical practice of physicians at their site.
• Appropriately assessing patients and developing safe and cost-effective plans of care.
• Functioning as a key member of the clinical team in optimizing patient flow and maximizing the delivery of quality care to patients.
• Completion of all documentation and billing related to encounters no later than 2 business days from the date of service.

Minimum Qualifications

• Masters Degree in accredited NP/PA program
• Current NYS license, DEA and Board Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience with healthcare delivery in an ambulatory setting. We are willing to consider newer graduates.
• Excellent communication and attention-to-detail skills required.
• Experience with electronic health records.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $125,000
