The Health & Wellness Center at St. Catherine University invites applications for a part-timeAdvanced Practice Provider position.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in the Health and Wellness Clinic provides comprehensive, high-quality, patient-centered primary care to St. Catherine University students. The APP is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad range of acute, chronic, recurrent, women's health, and mental health conditions within the scope of practice of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The APP provides preventive care, health education, and wellness services while collaborating with campus and community resources to support the overall health and well-being of students.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, women's health and preventive care; management of acute and chronic health conditions; evaluation and treatment of mental health concerns, including prescribing medications when appropriate and collaborating with the Counseling Center; ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic testing; patient education; and accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
The APP will also contribute to the overall operations and success of the Health and Wellness Clinic through collaboration with clinic staff, participation in quality improvement and program development, and completion of administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Director.

The APP will actively contribute to the mission of St. Catherine University and its commitment to supporting the academic success, health, and well-being of its students.
This is a .5 FTE exempt position. Although the position is classified as .5 FTE for the year, the employee will work 32 hours per week during the academic year. The specific work dates will be determined each year in conjunction with the supervisor based on the University's academic calendar. The employee will not have scheduled work during the summer months but will remain employed and continue to receive their regular salary throughout the year, including during the summer.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner (or rationale for acceptance of other than the minimum required graduate credential)
