PURPOSE OF CONTRACT: Actively participate in the collection and analysis of data related to the project. Collaborator on activities related to the project/agreement stated.
JOB LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: FACULTY OF SPORT SCIENCES AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SOCCER FIELDS IN GALICIA (9 to 14h and 17 to 19h M to F)
Title: Advanced System for Health and Sports Performance Protection and Monitoring, with Scientific Validation of Heading in Soccer (SAVE).
Tasks to be performed:
- Support the design of the experimental protocol of the SAVE project, focused on the analysis of soccer heading and the evaluation of the effects of the protective system developed within the project.
- Responsible for the organization, data collection, and data management in field studies involving athletes from different competitive levels, ensuring compliance with ethical and experimental protocols.
- Recording, processing, and analysis of kinematic, kinetic, neurophysiological, and perceptual-cognitive variables associated with soccer heading.
- Statistical analysis and data processing of the information obtained during the different phases of the experimental study (conditions with and without the SAVE device).
- Preparation and writing of scientific manuscripts derived from the project.
Justification of contract duration: The duration of the contract will depend on the development of the project and the annual funding allocations approved by the Spanish State Research Agency, ending, in any case, within the project’s approved execution period.

Evaluation criteria:
- Grade obtained in the degree presented as an eligibility requirement (maximum score: 15 points):
- PhD with Cum Laude distinction and doctoral award: 15 points.
- PhD with Cum Laude distinction without doctoral award: 10 points.
- Outstanding: 7 points.
- Very Good: 5 points.
- Pass: 2.5 points.
- Publications related to human movement analysis, biomechanics, motor control, or sports injury prevention (maximum score: 15 points):
- 5 points per publication indexed in JCR journals.
- For publications not indexed in JCR, the score will be multiplied by 0.1.
- Proven experience in research projects related to biomechanics, motor control, or sports performance analysis (up to 10 points; 0.25 points/month).
- Experience in the analysis of kinematic, kinetic, or neurocognitive data (especially TMS and/or EEG) applied to sports (up to 10 points; 0.3 points/month).
- Experience in the acquisition, recording, and monitoring of kinematic, kinetic, or neurocognitive data (especially TMS and/or EEG) applied to sports (up to 15 points; 0.3 points/month).
- Other merits (maximum score: 5 points):
- English proficiency level C2: 5 points.
- English proficiency level C1: 2 points.
- English proficiency level B1: 1 point.
- CELGA 4 (Galician language certificate): 5 points.
- Interview (maximum score: 25 points).
A minimum score of 70 points will be required for selection. To be included on the reserve list, candidates must obtain a minimum of 50 points based on the assessable merits, excluding the interview score.
