Academic Advising & Student Development

• Provide intensive, developmental academic advising to first-generation and income-eligible students...
• Conduct individual advising sessions at least twice per semester...
• Assist students in identifying potential academic and career pathways...

Recruitment & Program Outreach:

• Assist the Advisor II and Program Director in developing recruitment strategies...
• Support outreach efforts by delivering informational presentations...
• Maintain active communication with campus faculty...
• Participate in the review and evaluation of student applications...

Grant Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation...
• Collaborate with core grant personnel...
• Maintain detailed case notes...
• Verify that all student files include required documentation...

Collaborate with institutional departments (e.g., Financial Aid, Career Services, Student Accessibility & Well Being ) to connect students with appropriate campus resources...

• Facilitate student participation in transfer-related programming...
• Instruct students in the use of institutional systems...
• Review academic records...
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of workshops...

Other Duties as Assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, plus one (1) year of related experience...
• OR Associates degree, plus three (3) years of related experience...
• Working knowledge of admissions, financial aid...
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships...
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
• This position requires the use of a company vehicle... must successfully pass an MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance.
