Agriculture Adjunct Faculty Continuous Applicant Pool
Job Summary
Using technology-enhanced instruction, the adjunct faculty supports the colleges mission by delivering agriculture-related courses and curricula.
Essential Functions
- Teach assigned agriculture classes such as agribusiness, fruit and vegetable production, sustainability, viticulture, and soil science.
- Provide academic advising in collaboration with Student Services staff.
- Maintain academic excellence and grading standards.
- Prepare and distribute course syllabi/outlines.
- Monitor and support student progress.
- Maintain accurate academic records.
- Submit final grades online.
- Other duties as assigned.
Accountabilities
Operating under the Department Chairs guidance, adjunct faculty must meet all educational, administrative, and fiscal expectations.
Job Specifications
Associates degree in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
Salary
$61 per contact hour
