"Agriculture Adjunct Faculty Continuous Applicant Pool"

Job Summary

Using technology-enhanced instruction, the adjunct faculty supports the colleges mission by delivering agriculture-related courses and curricula.

Essential Functions

• Teach assigned agriculture classes such as agribusiness, fruit and vegetable production, sustainability, viticulture, and soil science.
• Provide academic advising in collaboration with Student Services staff.
• Maintain academic excellence and grading standards.
• Prepare and distribute course syllabi/outlines.
• Monitor and support student progress.
• Maintain accurate academic records.
• Submit final grades online.
• Other duties as assigned.

Accountabilities

Operating under the Department Chairs guidance, adjunct faculty must meet all educational, administrative, and fiscal expectations.

Job Specifications

Associates degree in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.

Salary

$61 per contact hour
