The Office comprises three teams – Alumni Relations, Development and Operations. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, high-energy team as ECU enters a transformational phase, with the opening of Western Australia’s first comprehensive city university campus.

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Alumni and Community Relations Coordinator to join our team. 

The position plays a key role in supporting the Manager of Alumni Relations and the rest of the DAR team to increase the number of global alumni connected to ECU and the level of their involvement with the University. This is a dynamic and varied role that offers scope for creativity, coordinating events, programs, communications and projects that make a genuine difference to ECU’s alumni community.

About you

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in stakeholder engagement, events, or communications.

The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience in the coordination of events and/or communications, a proactive and solutions-focused approach, and the confidence to engage effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to perform well under pressure and hold a genuine dedication to fostering meaningful relationships. They will hold personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.
