As Alumni Engagement Coordinator for the UNSW Business School, you will engage with UNSW alumni to foster meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships, with the aim of building ongoing support and encouraging active participation in university life. Your work will contribute to strengthening the global UNSW alumni network and enhancing the university’s reputation and impact.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, External Engagement and works collaboratively with the faculty to develop and implement targeted engagement strategies for the 120,000+ UNSW Business School global alumni community.

Your role will focus on:

  • Acting as a key point of contact to manage alumni engagement enquires.
  • Supporting the implementing of an alumni relations strategy aligned with UNSW and Faculty goals.
  • Coordinating a program of impactful activities and events to build engagement with alumni.
  • Upholding high standards of alumni data management, ensuring integrity and responsible use within governance processes.
  • Support impactful web presence and social media output across the alumni space

Who you are: Holding a proven record of coordinating impactful engagement programs and initiatives, you’ll excel in stakeholder communication and cross‑team collaboration to support university‑wide engagement goals.
You’ll hold the following skills & experience:

  • Proven track record of coordinating engagement programs, events and projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage, influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute strategically to the work of the team, co-ordinating project work to ensure the delivery of programs and initiatives.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, database management and email marketing platforms (e.g. CRM systems).
  • Proven ability to autonomously manage a diverse workload with multiple priorities.
