Job Description:

• Flexible working options considered closely accessible to the Albany area.
• Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis.
• Base salary range: $104,243 – $115,661 p.a. +17% superannuation.

About the area

UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.

About the opportunity

• Deliver IT Support to regional end-users in line with IT Service Level Agreements and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide IT support for commonly used computing platforms.
• Provide support for specialised teaching and research solutions and design and implement new systems in accordance with appropriate build guidelines and processes.

About you

• Someone local to Albany to easily service our customers in the area.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
• Experience in a customer service role with a mature approach to work.
• Experience with field/on-site support of IT systems and services.
• Experience in providing support and troubleshooting for teaching and/or research solutions and applications.
• Experience in ITIL request fulfilment, incident and problem resolution and management.

Special Requirements

A current National Police Clearance Certificate and “C” class driver’s licence will be required by the successful applicant.
