Analyst - Travel Services
Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.
Major/Essential Functions
- Review and approve travel reports for appropriateness and accuracy in an online application.
- Process travel vouchers in compliance with operating policies and guidelines.
- Provide customer service assisting department end-users with navigating the online expense management system.
- Prioritize daily workload to meet department goals, service standards and records control for audit.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Banner finance system processes, SciQuest e-Procurement system, and Emburse expense management platform.
- Knowledge of Texas State Travel Management policies and procedures and Accounts Payable programs.
- Knowledge utilizing the Online Travel System and administrative programs.
- Bookkeeping and/or account reconciliation experience. Experience working in a similar role will be accepted as well.
- Degree work or experience in Business, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in job related field plus one year of related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
