Animal Care Technician I (Washroom)

Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of the washroom facility. This position does not interact with animals.

Responsibilities

1. Clean and disinfect animal cages and equipment
2. Operate washroom equipment, including rack, tunnel and cabinet washers; autoclaves, disposals units, bedding dispensers and portable washers
3. Basic record keeping in logbooks
4. Work with cleaning and disinfecting chemicals
5. Sanitize washroom and storage areas
