Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s degree (2-year program) or equivalent professional qualification with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade on the UGC 7-point scale.
• Candidates with an Phil. degree and 55% aggregate (or grade ‘B’ equivalent).
• 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and differently-abled candidates.

Financial Assistance

• Full-time Ph.D. scholars with provisional registration are eligible for a stipend of 25,000/month for up to 3 years.
• Candidates qualified in UGC-NET (JRF)/ CSIR-NET (JRF)/ GATE/ GPAT are eligible for 31,000/month for up to 3
• Stipend continuation depends on satisfactory annual research progress.
