About the Position

Life models for studio art classes

What You'll Do

• Work varying shifts as scheduled
• Arrive to scheduled shift with adequate time prior to start, to discuss set up with faculty
• Pose for shifts as scheduled
• Ability to maintain a static poses for up to 30 minutes at a time

Must Haves

• Ability to hold a variety of poses for artists
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice to Haves

• Previous modeling experience is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with the visual arts is preferred
• Must be comfortable posing in various stages of dress

Physical Requirements

• Ability to hold a variety of poses for up to 30 minutes at a time
• Moderate amount of lifting of light weight (up to 15 lbs.) to medium weight (15 to 35 lbs.), climbing or working in physically tiring work
• Bending, kneeling/squatting, twisting, standing, sitting, repetitive hand movements (e.g., typing)

Pay Rate

$18 per hour
