Skill in providing lead work for other sufficient to plan, coordinate, and direct alternative media requests. Ability to operate and assist students with educational software or assistive technology that provides an accommodation to their learning. Ability to effectively communicate with all people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Be proficient in the sign language systems and demonstrate a mastery of specialized and technical signs appropriate to interpreting in a university setting. Physical Requirements Light: Requires occasionally transporting such articles as file boxes and heavy hand tools or heavier materials with help from others and/or transporting light objects frequently. The position may require movement throughout building(s) to a significant degree. Work Shift Monday – Friday, 1 pm-9:30 pm, with some morning and weekend hours required based upon need.
