assessment solutions that improve learner outcomes and educator capability. The role contributes to

consistency, authenticity, and continuous improvement across the university’s VET assessment practice.
About you

resources that meet the requirements of training packages and accredited courses, ensuring each tool
supports the collection of valid, authentic, current, and sufficient evidence of competence.
• Demonstrated understanding of the implications of generative AI for assessment design and academic
integrity within the VET sector, and ability to apply CDU’s GenAI guidance to ensure ethical and
transparent use of approved tools.
• Proven ability to design and contextualise assessment methods, tools, and tasks that reflect current
industry practice, are adaptable to diverse workplace and simulated settings, and ensure assessment
is valid, reliable, flexible, and fair.
• Experience collaborating with educators, learning designers, and resource developers to uplift
assessment design, methods, and practice.
• Comprehensive understanding of competency-based assessment design and mapping, including the
alignment of assessment tasks and instruments to elements, performance criteria, performance
evidence, knowledge evidence, and assessment conditions.
• Demonstrated capability in contributing to validation activities across the assessment lifecycle,
including participation in pre-validation and post-validation processes, to support consistency,
authenticity, and continuous improvement in assessment practice.
• Commitment to inclusive and accessible assessment design, embedding reasonable adjustment
strategies and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and CDU design
templates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross
