Responsibilities
- Serve as the Secretary to the Dean and to the Faculty
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to Faculty-level committees to ensure effective governance
- Manage administrative support and oversee quality assurance processes across undergraduate, taught postgraduate, and research postgraduate programmes
- Administer internal research grants, finance and personnel matters, and coordinate office space management
- Lead promotional campaigns to enhance the Faculty’s visibility and reputation
- Spearhead planning and execution of key events
- Provide leadership within the Office to ensure delivery of administrative and clerical support for Faculty activities
Requirements
- A recognized Bachelor's degree in any discipline, and a higher degree is preferred
- Minimum of eight years’ relevant experience in the tertiary education sector
- An excellent command of written and verbal English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Strong management skills and computer literacy
- Positive, proactive work attitude and a great sense of responsibility
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Attentiveness to details and the ability to multi-task
- Experience in committee work and the ability to work under minimal supervision will be distinct advantages
Salary and Benefits
Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
