The Dean of the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University announces a selection procedure for the position of Assistant and Assistant Professor at the Department of Law and Technology.

Workplace: Department of Law and Technology

Employment: fixed term 3 years

Working hours: 40 hours/week

Start date: 1 March 2026

Place of work: Brno

Your work will include:

• teaching courses focused on information technology law in accredited study programmes and lifelong learning programmes, including the preparation of study materials,
• scientific activity, including publishing and applied research,
• significant participation in project activities and contract research,
• participation in the organisational and administrative aspects of scientific and pedagogical activities.

We require:

• completed master's degree from a law faculty, majoring in law,
• Ph.D. degree (for the position of assistant professor),
• ability to teach and publish in Czech,
• qualified interest in the field of information technology,
• information on the concurrence of employment within the meaning of Section 70 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions, as amended,
• prerequisites for independent teaching work in the field of information technology law in Czech and English, demonstrated by experience in teaching at a university,
• prerequisites for independent scientific work in the field of information technology law in Czech and English, demonstrated by relevant professional publications or participation in scientific projects,
• moral integrity.
