"Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor - Department of Neurology, Neurohospitalist"

The Department of Neurology at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences is seeking Neurohospitalists, board certified or board eligible in Neurology, to join their expanding department. This position follows a 7 on / 7 off schedule, providing excellent work-life balance and the ability to focus on inpatient neurology service delivery within a high-acuity academic medical setting. Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient neurology consultation and care as part of a 7 on / 7 off Neurohospitalist team
• Participate in clinical teaching of medical students, neurology residents, and fellows
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes
• Engage in academic activities including education, quality improvement, or clinical research
• Attend departmental meetings and contribute to program development

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Successful completion of a Neurology residency program
• Current and unrestricted licensure in the State of Ohio (or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date)
• Strong commitment to academic medicine, clinical excellence, and teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team of healthcare professionals
